The Apsis Atrium Palace is a new hotel opened in 2003 in a neoclassical building dated 1888 and with a modern soft decoration. The hotel has been conceived with a cutting edge concept of accommodation.

Location. Reception staff friendly and efficient.

We have stayed at this hotel on 3 previous occasions and were always impressed with everything but this time the towels were not always changed even though we put them on the side of the bath as requested. Also on previous occasions we had complimentary bathroom products replaced every day and evening chocolates but this time not. We think for a 4 star hotel this should be standard.

The staff were excellent, the room was very clean and modern

Our window looked out onto a brick wall which made the room very dark.
I asked for a room with a view not a brick wall. Also there was no
drawer space.

The staff were excellent-we were back at Barcelona a week later and they allowed us to leave our baggage at the hotel. They were so helpful giving us driections and maps etc. The hotel is only minutes away from city centre.

The location of the hotel was good for all the major tourist sites and
it wasnt too far from a metro station.

Breakfast should be included in the room rate. The fee for breakfast
was exceptionally dear. We got our breakfast elsewhere for a fraction
of the price.

The room was spotless, it is in a very convienient location and the staff were excellent throughout our stay. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. I would have no difficulty staying here again in the future.

Very good hotel. Staff was nice and efficient. Hotel very central. Good
facilities. Would definitely stay in this hotel again if I go back to
Barcelona. We used the baby sitting facilities for our daughter of 6
years old and Manon had a very good time.

The location is excellent for shopping and sightseeing and only 400 metres from the stop for the airport bus which leaves every 6 minutes and is cheap.

Be careful when booking. We asked for quiet rooms which we got but they were over the well of the building so dark and no view. I suggest the back best but other reviewers say school playground is noisy during term time. The front is on a busy street. Room was cleaned to a high standard every day and reception were helpful.

Default of the staff - during the welcoming, prefered stoping and selling a tour guide, contradiction in the informations given, forget once to clean bedroom; policy of the hotel : make a maximum of money (breakfast; Internet, film = price of cinema); very desagreeable feeling; very noisy (pipe of water, street)

The hotel facilities were excellent however the personnel at the hotel
could be more alert, more serviceminded and more dedicated to the
guests. We had to wait two hours after promised check-in time before we
did get our room. We did not get any compensation for that: no reduction
in price, no extra compensation such as breakfast or similar.
